A Guide for Parents on Special Education (PDF)

This guide, authored by the Federation for Children with Special Needs in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Education, is designed to serve as a valuable resource for parents and the organizations that support them. It offers the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding the special education system in Massachusetts. The Federation hopes that this publication will assist families in securing the necessary supports and services for their children with disabilities to succeed in school.

The Guide for Parents on Special Education is available in various formats and in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
